Summary
|
"Swoop" was the nickname of a clone trooper pilot who led Group Two during the Battle of Ryloth. After Separatists seized control of the planet Ryloth, Anakin Skywalker and Ashoka Tano were sent to destroy the blockade surrounding the planet. Tano led a squadron, for the first time, taking command of Blue Squadron under the callsign Blue Leader. Swoop joined his fellow pilots in his V-19 Torrent Starfighter in fighting the advancing Vulture droids, and his squadron was able to cut a clear path to the lead ship. However, after Separatists reinforcements arrived out of hyperspace, Tano disobeyed a direct order from both Admiral Yularen and Skywalker to return and defend the Resolute. Tano finally complied, but by the time she returned to the Resolute, eight of her original ten clone pilots had died with Swoop was one of the only two survivors. Read more... |
